Different wallpaper on two monitors in Windows

Above the wallpaper gallery there is a row of screens: “All” and the monitor numbers. What you pick there decides where the picture goes.

1. Open Studio, go to the Wallpapers tab and click a monitor number in the screen row. The wallpaper you pick goes on that monitor only.
2. Click All to put one wallpaper on all monitors at once. Video wallpapers work the same way: one video on all screens or a separate video on each.
3. For a vertical monitor, move the Crop slider: it picks the visible part of the picture. The position is remembered separately for each monitor and its orientation.

When you rotate a monitor or change the resolution, the wallpaper adjusts on its own. The filter and mirroring also apply either to all monitors or only to the selected one.

The Effects tab has the same screen row. Rain on one monitor and snow on another, parallax only on the main one or glitch only on the second: each is set up independently.

1. Open the Effects tab and pick a monitor number in the screen row.
2. Choose an effect for that monitor: falling particles, parallax, glitch or VHS.
3. Repeat for another monitor, or click All to run one effect on every screen.

If a full-screen game is running on one monitor, effects stop on all monitors so they do not load the graphics card. A window or video in full screen stops effects only on its own monitor.

The brightness of an external monitor is usually changed with the buttons on its case. Vealo changes it from Studio, for all monitors at once or for each one separately.

1. Open Studio, the Settings tab, the Screens section, the Brightness row.
2. Choose All or a monitor number and move the slider. External monitors are controlled over DDC/CI, a laptop screen through Windows.
3. If an external monitor does not respond, turn on DDC/CI in the monitor's own menu: on some models this control is off by default.

• Shortcuts for each screen. The Vealo panel opened on the second monitor shows the shortcuts from that monitor's desktop. If there are no shortcuts on that monitor, it shows all of them.
• One video, no extra load. A shared video on all screens is played by a single decoder. A separate video on each monitor uses its own decoder.
• Vertical screens. The crop for the vertical position is stored separately, so after you rotate the monitor and back, the picture sits exactly as it did before.
• Free. Wallpaper per screen, video wallpapers and brightness are part of the free version. Of the effects, rain is free and the rest are part of Pro.
